Research

My research lies in algebraic coding theory, with a focus on algebraic and geometric methods for the study of error-correcting codes.

Broadly speaking, I am interested in the interaction between coding theory, algebra, geometry over finite fields, and cryptography. My work includes algebraic-geometry codes, rank-metric and sum-rank codes, minimal and covering problems, and the study of permutations, perfect nonlinear functions, and related questions over finite fields.
